features and advantages
Unmatched accuracy
The WT5000 is the most accurate precision power analyzer in the world, ensuring a basic accuracy of ± 0.03% and an accuracy of 1% to 130% of the selected voltage and current range. The WT5000 minimizes the effects of low power factor (0.02 percent of apparent power) and can accurately measure large phase shifts and frequencies.
multi-channel measurement
The measurement supports up to 7 different power phases with a sampling rate of 10 MS/s(18bit). The 10.1-inch WXGA display has a high resolution, allows up to 7 sets of split-screen waveform displays, and can display up to 12 pages of measurement parameters. It is ideal for efficiency testing, and is suitable for inverter-driven motors, renewable energy technologies, and traction measurements such as pumps, fans, and electric vehicles. The measurement data is also instantly displayed in vector format or trend graphs.
Intuitive operation
The WT5000 supports independent touch screen and hardware key operation, and the smooth and intuitive experience makes connection, configuration and measurement easier than ever. The 10.1-inch WXGA touch screen maintains excellent anti-interference ability even in high noise environments such as motors and frequency converters.
Advanced Filtering
In addition to low-pass frequency filters and line filters, the WT5000 also features advanced filtering capabilities, providing unprecedented control to accurately analyze the most complex waveforms.
Advanced Harmonic Analysis
Evaluate and compare input and output harmonics up to 500 in a frequency converter, motor or power conditioner. The WT5000 allows users to not only measure harmonics and power simultaneously, but also compare harmonics from two different input sources.
Due to the anti-aliasing function and line filter with digital parallel path technology, the power analysis of broadband and narrow frequency components can be carried out at the same time, so the influence of noise and aliasing is minimized.
User-defined triggers and operations
Define and use event triggering and custom operations based on application requirements. The event trigger function allows the user to set limits and capture readings within or outside the limits of specific power, current or other parameters. You can also define and use up to 20 different expressions for custom operations. Data satisfying the trigger condition may be stored or saved to the USB storage device.
Application
Electric Vehicle Development
16% ~ 18% of the total charge of electric vehicles is consumed with the loss of the electric drive system. Therefore, electric and hybrid vehicle manufacturers need to accurately evaluate motors and controllers to achieve higher accuracy and efficiency. In addition, accurate analysis of the controller waveform without the interference of switching noise is the key to evaluate the motor drive circuit.
Renewable Energy System Development
The energy generated by the photovoltaic cell module and the fan is converted from direct current to alternating current through the power conditioner. Minimising losses in the conversion process is critical to improving the efficiency of the overall energy system.
Frequency converter/motor driver
In recent years, motor drive technology has become increasingly complex, pure sine wave pulse width modulation is not common, the increasingly common situation is that the average voltage and the fundamental voltage waveform is very different.
Magnetic characteristic test
In the development of transformers or reactors, the WT5000 can be used to evaluate the properties of magnetic materials in Epstein frame systems.
Power calibration
For customers who use a large number of power meters, the WT5000 can be used as a reference standard for periodic internal calibration of power measurement instruments such as the WT300E series and the WT500.
