This pavement assessment is carried out by the Civil Aviation Design and Research Institute of China Design Group. According to the current situation, detection requirements, detection scope and content of the runway pavement of Alxa Zuoqi Airport, pavement damage investigation, runway pavement smoothness detection, pavement drainage performance detection and evaluation (including elevation measurement of the road panel in subsidence area), pavement non-destructive deflection strength detection, ground-penetrating radar non-destructive detection, pavement core sampling and indoor test are carried out, A total of 6 testing projects, which took 5 days to complete.

After the completion of this assessment, the inspection unit will combine the pavement inspection data of Alxa Zuoqi Airport to form a comprehensive pavement evaluation report through calculation and analysis. The report will evaluate the integrity, flatness, friction resistance, strength PCN and remaining pavement life of the airport runway, contact track and apron, and give opinions and suggestions on the maintenance and management of the pavement. Through this comprehensive evaluation of runway pavement, it will effectively promote the scientific utilization and management of airport pavement resources, improve the support capacity of infrastructure, and lay a solid foundation for the safe operation of Alxa Zuoqi Airport.
