From June 7 to 8, the British Department of International Commerce and Trade organized a delegation of seven enterprises (Silverstream, Coltraco, Findlay Irvine, AVEVA, Crowcon, Delta Mobrey, Rotork) to form a British maritime trade delegation. Shi Lei, head of maritime industry in China, led the delegation to Shandong Province and visited Intercontinental Shipping Group, China Shipping Group Qingdao Beihai Shipbuilding Co., Ltd., CIMC Raffles and China Merchants Jinling Shipbuilding (Weihai) Co., Ltd.
During the event, the delegation introduced the technology and products of their own enterprises, and had a warm exchange with the participants. Many enterprises' products have been used by the Chinese side. Through this roadshow, the Chinese side not only has a better understanding of British technology and products, but the British side also answered some of China's questions.
After the roadshow, the delegation gave a very high evaluation of the trip and believed that it had played a positive role in promoting British maritime technology and equipment. And I am looking forward to the Shanghai Station roadshow to be held at the end of the month.
