Portable Oscillographic Recorder DL350

Portable Oscillographic Recorder DL350

Tough measurement conditions require high performance and flexible solutions. This is the design concept of the DL350 oscillographic recorder. The DL350 shares the same 18 plug-in modules as other oscillographs, and battery power makes it easy to carry and use in confined spaces. DL350 provides up to 8 analog and 16 digital channels, with a sampling rate of 100 MS/s, a maximum insulation voltage of 1KV, and a maximum resolution of 16 bits. It supports a variety of modules, can be flexibly configured, and is suitable for measuring various long-term and instantaneous waveforms. The use of rechargeable batteries not only makes field testing possible, it works with the main power supply, but also plays the role of UPS.

Not just testing tools.
When you're away from the lab or office, you need a portable instrument like the DL350 that integrates all measuring and recording functions. Whether it's high-speed observation or long-term recording, or "fast and simple" or advanced and complex settings, the DL350 has the flexibility to meet your needs.

Complete independent signal conditioning
Whether it's direct, high-precision voltage measurements or mixed signals from current probes, temperature sensors, strain gauges, acceleration sensors and serial buses, the DL350 can handle them without the need for additional junction boxes or cables.
The DL350 has 2 slots for 18 different types of user-pluggable input modules, providing superior input capabilities. For example, this means that users can simultaneously measure 16 temperature signals or 2 independent CAN or LIN bus signals (each containing 30 signals) when testing at 1 MS/s with 4 insulated 16-bit voltage input modules. After replacing the module, it can be measured at a speed of 100 MS/s (12-bit accuracy and 1kV insulation). At the same time, there are 16 built-in logic inputs; replacing it with a digital input module will add more logic inputs. Using a module with RMS function, or using an operation channel after recording is completed, AC signals can be measured like DMM.

Can be used as a data acquisition system or large memory oscilloscope
The SD card can directly record up to 5G points of data per module. This means that the DL350 can record continuously for up to 50 days. For high-speed signals, up to 100M points of memory per module can be used to capture fast transients. This is 10000 times higher than other portable oscilloscopes or test tools, so that signals can be acquired at a higher sample rate or can be captured for a longer period of time.

Accurate measurement of rapidly changing waveforms
As a unique product among many portable measuring instruments, the DL350 can use a high-resolution high-speed sampling module. This provides a separate isolated 12-bit 100 MS/s input that can accurately measure and record transient waveforms superimposed on slowly varying signals. For example, transients in the output of the frequency converter, or edges of the control signal, are not suitable for traditional hand-held test tools.

Comprehensive testing is easy.
Comprehensive and flexible recording
For customers who are more familiar with chart recorders than long storage oscilloscopes, the DL350 allows them to easily select the operating mode. The logger mode is ideal for long-term continuous recording over a specific period of time and with a specified sampling interval. The setup wizard can be used in this mode to quickly guide the operator through the setup process.
Oscilloscope mode allows the DL350 to be used like an oscilloscope, with all the corresponding advantages such as comprehensive triggering and flexible use of memory. Using history storage allows data captured by up to 1000 independent triggers to be stored in memory and viewed after the fact. This allows for a careful analysis of the causes and effects of anomalies, as simple as flipping through a photo album.

Intuitive operation
To provide excellent noise immunity, the DL350 features a 8.4-inch resistive touch screen. In the harshest environments of electrical noise such as motors and frequency converters, the DL350 can be operated by using a gloved finger or stylus while maintaining measurement accuracy.
Even if the backlight is turned off and the touchscreen is not active, the user can still operate the START/STOP, manual trigger, and data save keys. For users who are not familiar with the latest measuring instruments, the instrument also provides quick help with a built-in functional instruction manual.

Multiple triggers for fault query
Users can select simple level triggers or use enhanced triggers such as pulse width, waveform period, and multi-channel combinations. For example, waveform window triggering is suitable for AC power supply monitoring, allowing voltage dips, surges, spikes, phase shifts, or power drops to be easily captured (for 40 to 1000Hz waveforms).
The DL350 can be left unattended to automatically save waveforms to a file or send a notification email when there is a trigger.

External Sample Clock and Trigger
The DL350 is first and foremost a field tool, but it still provides the functionality you expect from a laboratory instrument. Sample clock, trigger, and start/end control can all use external signals. For example, a rotary angle encoder or an indexing wheel can be used as a sampling clock to analyze engine rotation and performance.
