Mixed Signal Oscilloscope DLM5000 Series
As the creator of the world's first 8-channel oscilloscope, DLM5000 is the latest product series in YOKOGAWA. With more than 100 years of industry experience, it will bring you more than 8 channels of measurement experience.
Adaptability is a key requirement for the development of high-performance intelligent power semiconductor technology and mechatronics technology in modern electric vehicles, motor control and energy-saving electronic design.
Combining a large, highly responsive touchscreen with a traditional oscilloscope panel, a 4-to 8-channel DLM5000 mixed-signal oscilloscope allows users to easily navigate the rich analysis capabilities with a fingertip touch.
Simple-With the sensitive touch screen, users can intuitively browse various menus, access zoom functions, search and identify specific events in the waveform, while still using the traditional oscilloscope control panel. DLM5000 is a compact 8-channel oscilloscope, ideal for your lab and design environment.
strong adaptability-The DLM5000 has up to 8 analog channels and 32-bit logic, as well as additional computing channels, vehicle serial bus and other analysis functions, providing users with the flexibility required for a variety of multi-channel measurements. In addition, the DLMsync supports multi-unit synchronization, extending the measurement to 16 channels to accommodate more applications.
Reliable-YOKOGAWA has been working on measurement quality for many years, DLM5000 with low residual noise, multiple voltage ranges and a variety of real-time low-pass filters to ensure the authenticity of the signal. History memory allows the user to save and analyze all captured trigger waveforms, ensuring that no data is lost. The dedicated embedded operating system makes the DLM5000 stable and reliable.

Multi-channel measurement applications
Limitations of Motor Control and Inverter Circuit Development for 4-Channel Oscilloscopes
4 It is impossible to measure the entire system through a four-channel oscilloscope; the real difficulty is the limitation of the channel oscilloscope to measure the timing between the IGBT gate signals inside the inverter.
Voltage and current measurement between the three-phase and IO of a motor driver IC is too challenging a test for a four-channel oscilloscope. A truly practical solution is an eight-channel MSO.
Electronic control unit and mechatronics test limits for 4-channel MSO
The additional logic input of the four-channel MSO MSO mixed-signal oscilloscope provides sufficient limited channels, but this method has blind spots. Digital waveform analysis using only logic inputs cannot show anomalies such as voltage drift, noise, distortion, or ringing, nor can it measure rise-fall time. ECU testing requires rigorous inspection of all digital waveforms, and analog input channels are the best tool for this job.
8ch
The key to efficient and reliable high-performance motors is the design of modern inverters, I .e. "intelligent power modules". Multi-channel, high-speed waveform measurement is absolutely necessary. Four channels are not enough. Equipped with eight real analog inputs, the DLM5000 provides a convenient and comprehensive measurement system for today's engineers.
A large number of I/O analog, digital, and serial bus waveforms must be measured around the electronic control unit (ECU). The DLM5000 provides sufficient channel count and architecture to monitor 8 analog channels and up to 32-bit logic inputs while simultaneously performing protocol analysis such as UART, I2C, SPI, CAN, CAN FD, LIN, CXPI, and FlexRay. When four channels are not enough, DLM5000 can speed up the research and development process.
