As a sub-project of the world's largest and the country's first "integration of source, network, load and storage" demonstration project (Three Gorges Wulanchabu source, network, load and storage demonstration project), the Three Gorges Wulanchabu new generation grid-friendly green power station demonstration project is invested by Three Gorges Energy and the Three Gorges Shanghai Institute as a consortium to participate in the general contracting construction. The planned total capacity of the first phase of the project is 425000 kilowatts of wind power and 75000 kilowatts of photovoltaic power generation, supporting the construction of 140000 kilowatts * 2 hours energy storage system.
The construction of the project is faced with many problems, such as tight schedule, heavy tasks, bad environment and so on. In addition, the continuous cooling since the beginning of winter this year has aggravated the difficulty of on-site construction. In line with the attitude of "the beginning is the decisive battle, the beginning is the sprint", the project construction team took root in the scene, slept in the day and night, kept a close eye on the construction progress, strictly controlled the project quality, coordinated and solved all kinds of unexpected problems in a timely manner, and ensured that 80 wind turbines were hoisted in a responsible and pragmatic manner, laying the foundation for the completion of the grid-connection target period of the first phase of the project at the end of the year.
After the completion of the Three Gorges Wulanchabu source network load storage demonstration project, it will become the single new energy station with the largest energy storage allocation scale and the highest proportion in the world. Taking new technologies such as energy storage as a breakthrough point, it will realize the peak power supply guarantee in intermittent new energy areas through the joint optimization and operation of wind and solar storage, and effectively solve the problems such as low comprehensive efficiency of the power system, insufficient coordination of "source network load" and load "and other links, significantly improve the level of clean energy consumption, and enhance the peak load guarantee capacity of the power grid in Inner Mongolia.
